Gideon Williams is an experienced Addiction Counsellor who has been practicing since 2006, working extensively in both inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment settings. With a wealth of experience in the field, Gideon has held key positions at several reputable treatment facilities, including roles as Clinical Manager, Senior Counsellor, and Outpatient/Aftercare Facilitator. In 2012, Gideon furthered their expertise by obtaining a Postgraduate Diploma in Addictions Care from the University of Cape Town (UCT).

Passionate about supporting individuals in recovery, Gideon is dedicated to equipping clients with the necessary tools to navigate the challenges of early recovery while fostering long-term resilience. Recognising the profound impact of addiction on families, Gideon also provides guidance and support to loved ones, helping them understand the recovery process and develop effective ways to offer meaningful support. With 25 years of personal recovery experience, Gideon brings a deep, empathetic understanding to their work, creating a safe and supportive space for clients.

 

His professional services include one-on-one addiction recovery counselling, group therapy, and structured aftercare programs. Additionally, Gideon offers specialised family counselling, support services, and referral assistance, ensuring a holistic approach to addiction recovery and long-term wellness.
